Our renowned dance education program that focuses on the physical and psychological development of our young dancers. The Academy offers a comprehensive, holistic and future focused approach to training our upcoming generation, preparing them for success of any kind. We are proud to provide a platform that nurtures a balance of healthy lifestyles and creative artistry.
SO, WHEN SHOULD I CONSIDER THE ACADEMY FOR MY CHILD?
Our recommended age for enrolment into The Academy is 5-7yrs. Generally, at this age, if a child is ready for The Academy program, we see "the spark". The spark is how your child attends, participates and responds to class each week. Feedback from your child's teacher/s may help you decide if they are experiencing this level of interest in dance and if they are ready. We highly suggest enrolling your child younger at a more adaptable and physically malleable age than waiting until they are "older". If your child is selected for The Academy program from our Recreational Programs, this means they have been handpicked from our Artistic Director who professionally assesses child readiness and has noted your child to be perfectly suited to The Academy program.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RECREATIONAL + ACADEMY?
One word, everything. The Academy is focused on holistic dance education and a constantly evolving experience. Differing from our Recreational Programs, The Academy platform nurtures progressive content, a versatile range of styles + foundations, further performing experience, our highest qualified teachers, a mentoring program, student support services and endless opportunities to further their growth.
